Native American Documentary

On Tuesday we went to a place called Saugatuck center of the arts, and we leaned about the Dakota Access Pipeline. And I learned that the Dakota Access Pipeline is cutting right through a Indian Preservation where people live and it is affecting their drinking water. And the people that live there were mad so they decided to protest (Kindof). So we learned all about the people there, there traditions and everything they like to do there, and we also learned where everything went wrong for the Indian Preservation. And we learned about their boarding schools and what life was like in the boarding schools. And we learned about Native baskets made out of wood and they put designs into the basket.

Living On One Dollar

We watched a a movie today in Social Studies about a group of college students who go to Guatemala and live on a couple dollars a day. In my opinion it was a good idea, because it shows people who live on a dollar a day go through and how hard it is to manage money. It was awesome to know everything about their daily life, their food and ETC… In my opinion i dont think i could live off of one dollar it would be difficult for me so i support the four guys for trying a challenge like that.
