God works In All Of Us

God works in all of us and one of the people we are learning about who God worked in is paul.

in the bible, Paul was trained to know scripture Thoroughly so he knew most of the bible.

Paul Encountered the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. One final influence that was formative on his life before he began his mission work was his encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul mentions this encounter with the Lord many times The importance of the Damascus account is not lost on Luke as he records early church history. Luke refers to the event three times in Acts 9, 22, and 26.

one of the ways God worked in me was when I went to serve in Haiti for 3 weeks in 3rd grade. we originally went there to see family friends and so my dad could do plumbing in one of their new houses in the orphanage. when we went there we went and helped out with the kids and did some work around the village.

a way that God has used me that is more recent is my family doing foster care. doing foster care has been one of the hardest things emotionally to go through for me and my family because when we get now placements it’s really hard for us to see them go when they get adopted and I think Gods using us through foster care because there are so many kids in the system that need homes and have no place to go because there are not enough families doing foster care

  1. Re-read Acts 7:57-58. How would you feel towards Saul?

mad because at the sound of the verse it sounds like he had something to do with Stephan being stoned

  1. What do you think encouraged these early Christians? In other words, why did the early Christians keep up the faith despite the persecution?

i think that they knew that Jesus would protect them and that when it was their time to go they would go and they knew that was Gods plane and so they trusted that he would do the right thing
