Africa

When we first started learning about Africa I didn’t really know much about it. Safari comes to mind when I think of Africa also the book we read last year: “A long walk to water” which took place in Sudan. We learned some statistics and about Africa and it showed me how much more developed the USA is. It also showed me some of the little things that I take for granted. I tend to think of poverty when I hear Africa because of the lack of medicine and low wages. Now in the USA men and women have more equal rights but in Africa, women have limited rights and men are valued as more important. I have I higher appreciation for the USA and the priveledges we have.
