The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Put others before yourself.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe tells us to put others before ourselves. In life… I have learned you should put others before yourself.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe showed many examples of putting others first.  I am going to explain three of them:

1.  The beavers put the children first by helping them get safely to the stone table.

2.  Mr. Tumnus helped Lucy get back to her homeland safe before the witch could get her.

3.  Peter helped Lucy and Susan by risking his life and fighting a wolf that attacked the girls.

The beavers put the kids first by helping them get safely to the stone table.

Mr beaver led the kids to an old hideout. They rested and then Santa came and gave them gifts that they would each need later in their journey. Then they continued on their journey and got to the stone table and met Aslan.  Mr and Mrs Beaver risked their lives to help the kids.

Mr. Tumnus helped Lucy get back to her homeland safely before the witch could get her.

Mr Tumnus told Lucy to stay hidden in the trees. Then he guided her safely back to the lamppost.  He also risked his life to help Lucy because if the witch caught him he would be frozen into a statue.  Instead of worrying about himself, he put Lucy before his own needs.

Peter helped Lucy and Susan by risking his life and fighting a wolf that attacked the girls.

Lucy was walking by a river when all of the sudden a wolf came out of nowhere and chased Lucy up a tree.  Susan came and tried to rescue Lucy but the wolf chased her up the tree too. Then Peter came to the rescue and he brought out his sword, which was his gift from Santa, and he fought the wolf.  Peter killed the wolf.  Peter put his sister’s needs before his.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has many examples of putting others before yourself and is a great reminder that we should do the same.  Putting others first shows kindness, love, and bravery.
