The part in the book that got to me was when Kino killed the man and attacked Jauna. The reason why it stuck out for me is because the pearl turned him into an animal and made him do things he usually wouldn’t do. He normally was a nice man who wanted the best for his son and wanted to protect his son and his wife and have the best for them and he never tried to hurt other people. But then when he had the pearl he killed a man and attacked his wife who he usually tried to protect and he just did things he usually didn’t. I don’t think this changes my life very much but it will help me remember to no change the way I am when I really want something or when I get blessed with something big to not take it for granted. Kino got the pearl and then he started planning all these things he was going to do with it and started getting full of himself and it started changing him so much that he killed a man. I really don’t want to turn out the way he and just want to remember what I have and be thankful for it. Kino was still thankful for the pearl it’s just he quickly was changed by it.
