Dear Parents & Students,

Welcome to 2nd/3rd grade! I am thrilled to begin this brand new year with you!

This is our class blog. On this page, you will find our weekly newsletter. It is important for you to scan this newsletter each week as to not miss out on important information & to be in touch with what your child is learning at school. Thank you in advance for this!

During this first week we will spend time learning routines and getting to know one another.

We have just a couple of reminders before our big day on Monday.

Important Notes/Dates/Events:

1) Opening Chapel is on the first day of school @ 9:00a.m

2) There will be hot lunch on the first day of school!   HERE is the link to the August hot lunch menu.

3) The 3rd grade team will be having our weekly lunch meetings on Tuesdays throughout the year. This is a great chance for parents and even grandparents to come have lunch with their child/grandchild.  We need supervision for the class from 12:00-12:30. Younger siblings are welcome to come along as well.  Please use this link below to sign up.

4)  Busing Information: *There is NO busing on the first day of school. There is busing the remainder of the week.

* If your child is planning on riding the bus, they must have a completed transportation form turned in to ZPS in order to have a bus route and be issued a bus tag.  If you have a question about your bus route please contact ZPS transportation directly at 616-748-3425.

* Bus Routes are loaded into Infinite Campus and can be found under the ‘bus information’ tab or ‘transportation’ if you are using the campus parent app. NO postcards will be mailed.  Y5 and Kindergarten parents will receive bus info at your parent night.
