To Scale: The Solar System

The solar system is so much bigger than we can even imagine! Those two people were inspired to show everybody how amazing our solar system is. The lights were cool because they showed how wide the orbits were. I learned lots from this and I learned how small the earth is in comparison to other planets. I was surprised how small the “planets” were because they needed like a 7 mile space to put them all in and earth was like the size of  a marble.

All of the things they used to attract the wolverines were really different from each other and I was surprised. There were so many other animals that got attracted to and it was cool to see all the different videos of so many different animals in the forest.  I would love to exercise in the forest just not run over the 80 miles the bait was spread. 🙂 It

Canyon Song

It was really interesting to hear them speak in their native language. Their native costumes were really cool too. When they were talking about how they would sing and yell when they drove into the canyon to alert the spirits that they were coming. I never knew there were so many “rules” to being a Navajo.  It is really sad that the Americans rounded up the Navajos and led them away but we can learn from our ancestors so we don’t do it again.
