I had a really hard time with 4-5 which is identifying similar figures. Mr.Lowe told us that he uses the go around the block trick and do the similar side on the figures, once he told us that we found all of the similar sides of the figure and then first divided the top numbers and then multiplied it by the number on the bottom.

48 over y = 30 over 35 so what we did was divide the top numbers and then multiply the bottom which would be 56.
Explain a real life situation where you did or might use this math concept
If I was a boss in a business and I had to pay 9 workers and I had 126 dollars and I had to give each worker the same amount of money I would do it this way. 126 over y and 9 over 1. You would divide 126 and 9 and then multiply it by 1 which would equal 14 dollars for each worker.
