Conflict and Doubt
I chose this picture, because of what decisions sometimes feel like. Which way? It’s impossible to know. Just let him lead you.
Covenant
Just like a little kid, we fall over and need help getting up. Because of his faithfulness, and love for us, He lifts us every time.
Slavery and Salvation
The whip is a symbol of how the were slaves to the Egyptians for such a long time. The circular coil, represents the cycle of Judges.
Sent to the Promised Land
This represents the ruins of Jericho, that God instructed the Israelites to destroy to claim their promised land.
A Savior
God loved us so much, that He was willing to send his only son to save us. The biggest cross represents Him.
Salute to a King
This is a symbol of what we call “real”. This is what the Israelites wanted a “real” person. Someone they could touch, and see.
Symbol of A Lamp
The light at the end of the tunnel, is the lamp. The light. The line. That light is Jesus. The covenant of God with David.
Something is Rotten
This tree is dead. It symbolizes how the kings of Israel and Judah fell. But out of it, something new grows.
