This summer I went camping in the Porcupines Mountains. There were biting flies that had blown over Lake Superior from the Wisconsin farms. It was hard to avoid them. None of our fancy bug spray would keep them away. I saw James VanAppledorn and his family. We biked and played spike ball that night. We hiked on a lot of trails and I walked my dog Ruby. We ended up leaving a day early. We then pulled our trailer to a different campground that wasn’t infested with the flies. We went to the Indian Lake campground. We stayed there for two nights and then after that we went home.
