African Union Day

Biggest challenges were working with your own group and you all have different ideas. The people that don’t know what to say about it were kind of annoying and they kind of repeat what you are talking about. Some people were not even helping with what you were doing they were talking about something totally different. When we asked questions I didn’t like that they didn’t have to answer because I wanted to know some of the groups perspectives but they didn’t answer your questions. The writing of the resolution with so many people and then countries where on both of the resolutions and we need to make that a little easier. I enjoyed how intense it was and how people were getting frustrated it kind of made me feel like I was there. The debate part of it was fun to and what the people and to say and what we could learn from other countries. It was a good model of what is would be like if the African Union does. But theirs would be a little more intense. We were like the people in the African Union but just on a smaller scale and to think that people actually do this and that is what they do for a living kind of sounds fun to do. I would love to do it again on the the EU or something like that and its just some different way of learning then sittin gina  class room.

Reaction to Invictus

What I learned? that there it a lot more black and white stories then you think like this one and there is probably more stories then what most people know of. I learned how they played rugby and that you can make good through sports and not just talking to people. Mandela trusted in himself and told himself that if they wanted him to leave from the president that the people would choose even when he made speeches he said I am going with my thoughts and my thoughts only. He got a great reward and he brought Africa to a country that is not undeveloped but developed which is like the only country in Africa. Mandela also trusted a lot of people and also was very God worthy.

Ways Mandela was wise? He was very wish in the way he acted and when he made decisions he trusted that he made the right one and not the wrong. In the movie he said if I make the wrong decision i will not longer be president but if they like what he said he will be for a while and he was a very humble person and trusted God through everything.
