We designed our boat to look really simple. All we did was we added a dowel rod and added an index card to that for a sail. For the base, we used a square of styrofoam. When we tested it, the time it got was about 10 seconds. If we change anything we would probably make the sail curved more. When we raced the first time our time was 10.23 seconds. What we changed was that we added about half of a pipe cleaner behind the index cards. We did that to that the “sail” would be more in the shape that it should be so that it goes faster than the first time. Our second time was 10.5 seconds.
