The Bible P.B.L.

this year in bible class we did a P.B.L. (Project Based Learning)! this was an experience that was very enjoyable for everyone there. My group was Somalia. For our project, we did a video, keynote and a visual presentation. Our visual presentation was a jail cell made and spray painted by Nate and me. we spent a long time to get it just right Kegan did the keynote, and Logan did the video. we learned that Somalia is #3 on the world watch list, and that 98% of christians are persecuted in day to day life

Lost in Love

10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:10-11

This year the theme is lost in love as we should be in life and to others. Lost in love is a theme you can relate to. Something you can practice your entire life and still not master. We can become better at it though. Christ came to this earth to help us become lost in love. We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world.

We can show this theme at school. By showing kindness and a spiritual love to one another you don’t have to  jump into love the way start small to like your friend. Or your family, You can pick up trash to show love and respect to our amazing school. Learning to interact with younger kids,

You can show love to the world by being considerate with this earth, by not littering and being considerate with your money and with others in this world. this world is not forever  so be considerate with it and its people. Make every day count to making this world a better place make it a utopia not a dystopia. Change can start with you make this earth a better place.

10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.               1 John 4:10-11

Beginning of the Year Reflections

this has been a strange and exciting school year for me so far. joining a class that has known each other for practically ever  it feel strange being “that new kid”. but I can see a definite love for christ in this school. the community of this year is amazing. everybody has showed their special way of fitting in and acting in this community we call school,  some think school is the worst thing ever, but it seems that people want to learn and be with each other. the teachers seem really passionate about what they teach   and are almost always willing to debate what is at topic and seem to really care about us and our academics. that’s why this has been an excellent year and cant wait to see what else happens this school year.

what I did this summer!

This summer was amazing! I started the summer by finishing the school year at Calvary Schools of Holland. That is when my family and I decided, i was going to change school! We knew what we wanted a school with good Christian character and morals, we looked at a few  school such as Zeeland Christian and Holland Christian. Now I am enjoying an awesome school year at Zeeland Christian! Also during this summer, my family and I went to British Colombia  Canada, and enjoyed the beautiful views of Whistler and Blackcomb. I also went to Spring Hill this summer, I enjoyed building in my relationship with Christ, and having enjoyable moments with my cabin and other campers that i will remember for a long time.Over all this has been an amazing summer, I am so excited so see what this school year brings and what next summer will bee like.
