5th Grade Memories – Hopes and Dreams for Middle School

5th Grade Memories:

  • Earlier this year Mrs. Driy called on Luke H for a question to answer. When she said his name, he didn’t actually hear her. He was just humming and song. So I called out his name, “Luke!!” and he woke from daydreaming. Everyone laughed and Luke’s face was really red like a cherry.
  • This morning and lot of people were playing a game called “Moon Ball”. When it was my try to throw the “Moon Ball” at the wall, it instead went to the top part of the wall ball, which means you have to go on the wall because you are out. But instead of coming down, it just got caught right in the railing.

Hopes & Dreams for Middle School:

  • Is that we learn to grow more in God and to have fun.
  • It’ll be fun to find out who is my homeroom teacher, who’s class I’m in, to have our own computers and to take them home, and to get out of school @ 2:37, because 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades get out @ 3:30

Mother’s Day “Memoir”

Here is a list of things I love about my Mom:

  • She plays baseball with me
    • Here is a story: Last night me and Mom were practicing for the baseball game for tonight. Me and Sarah bought her the proper way to throw the baseball. In return she played pop-ups with me. And another way she throws the tennis balls to me so I can hit them and practice hitting.
  • She drives me to school
    • Here is a story: Every Monday and Thursday Mom drives us to school. We get there really early and we play lightning when we get to school on Mondays and Thursdays. And occasionally she brings us when we miss the bus or when i have devotions to do on Wednesday.
  • She goes to buy grocers.
    • Here is a story: My Mom always goes to the story every single week. Without her going to the store and buying food, we wouldn’t have anything to eat for a week. And she always remembers to buy Cheerios because I love to eat them and almost eat every single box she buys.
  • She buys us stuff
    • Here is a story. When every month has come to an end, we do oil pulling, and as a reward she lets us buy what ever we want. But the catch is whatever we want has to be under $25.00. But, if you want to save up for a larger thing, you might have to wait a while
