I would recommend this book because:
It is a good book about slavery (so far). I think it will be a good historical book about Harriet Tubman that will tell you about her.

Chapter summary:
In this chapter Harriet brings her brothers to free land, Harriet gets there first and when she sees the train her brothers are on she calls out to them when they hear her they rejoice. She was also trying to tell them to look at the Niagara Falls. They didn’t hear her. They got off and Harriet rejoiced they where hear. Harriet also got them a house.

Chapter summary:
Harriet volunteered to help in the hospital for a while.it was somewhere in november and Abe Lincoln said that slavery was DONE on Jan 1! Days flew by. On Christmas everything was forgotten. everyone was packing to leave. Finally, it was Dec 31 and that night Abe made a speech, ”Slavery is no more!” his voice boomed over the crowds. Everyone cheered as loud as they could. Once he finished his speech, everyone left. The next day, everyone left for Canada.

Harriet is trying to tell slaves the good news. She is going all around to Plantations trying not to get killed by army men. Now, she has secretly become a member of the army so she most likely will not get killed. She is wearing a solder suit and a bag with a map in it. She also gas a rifle over her shoulder
