Lost in Love

This is love: Not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

We choose Lost in Love because we felt that our school needed to be more loving. We as 8th Graders need to be the most loving to everyone, even to the little kids. We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world.

I can show this theme many ways at school. We can give little kids high-fives as we walk down the halls. The kids’ faces light up as we walk by and smile. I can just tell how much joy it brings to them. I specifically remember my 8th Grade buddies from Young 5’s. Will and Jake, they were the best, they were fun, energetic and always happy. Also we could do any little thing from holding open doors to even going and playing with the little kids.

As Christians, we can also show this theme to the world. We can help those in need of it. We can also serve and volunteer for our community and spread God’s word. We can give back instead of just bundling up our houses and staying away from the action. Rather we should take action.

We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world. I think because we can love more we can be better Christians in our school and around the world.
