This year we made picture books for Language Arts. At the beginning we interviewed little kids to see what they like in a picture book. I took there ideas and I made a picture book about a dog who is scared to go to school. The kids said they loved animals and loved soccer so the main part in the book is wen the dog plays soccer with his new friend. When I was finished with my book I read it to different little kids and they loved it. It was cool to see their reaction because the kids were totally different and they still loved it. I guess little kids like the same thing animals, sports, and friendships. When I started making my picture book I thought Never knew I could Draw but by the end it was pretty fun and I enjoyed making the picture book very much.

Tim’s Chapel
Tim has brittle bone disease and he has had about 400 broken bones and he is only 18. Everyone might think that he would always be unhappy but even tho he has brittle bone decease it changed me because he has one of the worst diseases and he is still happy and glorifies God through everything he does and says God has a propose for doing this and he will follow Gods plan. Tim has made me think about how many blessings i have and even tho he has brittle bone disease he is still is very happy in it.
Immigration Stories
Today we had an immigration day. The first person we interviewed was Marianne Cubero and she told us that there was hardly any similarities between Costa Rica and the US. She came here for a vacation and she asked Mr. Vandyke if he had a job opening to let her know and if there was she would leave her family. a month later she got an email that she could teach at ZCS and she took it immediately she switched countries and she hardly knew anything about the USA because almost everything was different and she left he family to come teach at ZCS. She said that she loves it here and the only thing she would change is that she wants her family to be here. In Costa Rica There main agriculture is Coffee Beans and when there kids even babies they drink coffee.
