Where I Saw God This Past Weekend.
This Past Weekend I Saw God Through His People. At My Church We Had A Prospect Pastor Preach, And I Enjoyed Him, Me And A Number Of My Friends Agreed. After The Service We Hung Out And Asked Him Questions, That Went Well. He Has A Great Sense Of Humor, Is Very Open, And I Would Love To Have Him Be Our Pastor. At Night I Went With Worship Team To The Gathering At Hope College, Met Some Cool People, Talked With A Fellow Guitar Gearhead, Got Some Advice, Ate Some Pizza, Drank Some (A Lot Of) Pop, And Most Of All, Praised God. The Fellow Gearhead Was Really Nice, And Showed Me Around His Live Rig (For All Those People Who Don’t Understand What I’m Saying: He Showed Me Around All Of The Guitar Gear He Preforms With), He Ran A Tele (A Model Of Guitar) Through An Overdrive/Distortion (Effect That Makes The Guitar Sound Dirty. The Exact Name Of It Was The AC+), Through A Delay (Echo, Echo, Echo, echo..) Through A Tremelo (I Don’t Really Know How To Explain It In Regular People Words, But Heres What Google Says ; a wavering effect in a musical tone, typically produced by rapid reiteration of a note, or sometimes by rapid repeated variation in the pitch of a note or by sounding two notes of slightly different pitches to produce prominent overtones.) And Inbetween His Guitar And His Overdrive, He Had A Volume Pedal (Y’all Should Be Able To Infer And Figure It Out), He Ran All That (I Say ‘All That’, But It’s Rather Simple For Many Guitarists) Into An Amplifier (Commonly, And Incorrectly Known As A Speaker) That He Made Himself, He Had A Great Guitar Tone. The Team Sounded Awesome, And It Was The Best Worship I Had Had In A While. Thanks God. =D
