Wisdom vs. Intelligence

WISDOM

  • Discerning Heart
  • Humility
  • Right vs. Wrong
  • Putting it into Action

INTELLIGENCE

  • Smart
  • Know Facts, Not necessarily problem solving
  • Thinks they know everything and needs no help from God
  • Thinks they’re the best

Solomon’s Wisdom

Solomon was following in the footsteps of his father David, And Solomon didn’t make the wise choices all the time. Sometimes Solomon disobeyed God and did the intelligent choice no the wise choice. Solomon’s wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the people of the East, and greater than all the wisdom of Egypt. Solomon was pretty wise.

How can you apply this to your life?

I can apply this to my life by reading the bible everyday. And spread God’s word to people that aren’t Christians, and to people who are. Because they haven’t heard that story or it’s their favorite story so they would want to keep on listening to it and hearing that specific story!

John 3:16-19 – God’s Love

What does John 3:16-19 say about God’s love?
You can tell right in the beginning of the verse “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
It says God loves the world so much that he sent his one and only son to die on the cross to save us from our sins and if you believe in him you shall have eternal life. On verse 17 it says “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” It says that God didn’t send Jesus to die on the cross to condemn the world, but he sent Jesus to save the world in his hands. what verse 18 says “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” This means that if you believe in him you will not be punished but if you don’t believe in him you are already punished because they don’t believe in God’s one and only Son (Jesus) And the last verse (Verse 19) says “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” This says that the people were evil so they liked darkness (Night) instead of light (Day)

Ruth, Boaz, and Me

How was Ruth meeting Boaz “providential”? Where do you see God’s hand?

God told Ruth to follow Naomi and to live with her and God told Ruth to glean in a field and God made it Boaz’s field and God told Boaz to tell his men to let Ruth glean in his field and not to stop her from taking what she need and told them to leave some extra food for Ruth!

Have you ever experienced God’s providence in your own life?

Yes,  when God help you through tough times or even sad ones like funerals or when you siblings get hurt or even you parents you might fell really bad and sorry for them but God does that so we can learn or maybe if it’s a funeral it’s for the best and maybe that relative was going through terrible pain. For Example: I went to two funerals just last year both in November  one my great grandparent was going through terrible pain so God helped him and the other was unexpectedly but it was just ment to be.
