The French and the Indians were not fighting againstĀ each other, the french and the Indians were fighting against the british and Iroquois for beaver fur and land. They also wanted the ohio river valley because thats were all the beavers were. After they won theĀ Indians were worried the british would take over there land, so the King and Parliament made the proclamation of 1763 and it said don’t cross the Appalachian mountains, they got pretty mad.
