Which of the Revolutionary Acts have been the harshest? Why?

Hey everybody! I wanted to tell you all about the Boston Massacre and the Quartering Act. I would like to write about these topics because, they are the answer’s to this question!

The Boston Massacre has been one of the harshest acts because some of the colonists were killed! This happened when the British Soldier’s accidently fired one of the guns that they had for harming the colonists. From the British point of view, they say that on of the Soldier’s heard one of the colonists yelled “FIRE!”. The men shot their guns and ended up starting a massacre. In the end, 5 colonist’s were killed, and many of them were severely injured.

The Quartering Act was very harsh because many of the colonists got very mad at  the British and started to boycott. This was caused when England decided to make the colonist’s “babysit” certain soldiers. The soldier’s were sent to homes, and the colonist’s had to feed them, give them their own room, and care for them. This was very hard for the families with multiple children because it was already probably very hard to feed them. So, this act probably made some of the families go poor, for lack of food and not being able to pay the taxes dot to all the money they HAD to spend on the British Soldiers.

These acts were very hard for the colonists.

New Band song!

Hey fellow band members! Do you guys love that new song?! Well, it’s really fun and we might be able to get to march to it. But, remember keep practicing! It wont help at all if you don’t! I really would like to encourage the clarinet’s and the trumpet’s to take 1st clarinet or 1st trumpet. I think it will be fun and challenging!

Bible Memory!

Hey! Do you have a bible verse that you need to memorize? Well, if you don’t please take into consideration of memorizing  Matthew 6: 19-21,24-26,30-33. It’s a great verse and it means a lot to people!

This book is awesome!

Have you all ever heard of Nancy Drew? Well she is a amazing young sleuth created by Carolyn Keen. She is great at solving mystery’s! I woul like to recomend the first 3 mystery’s: Secret of the Old Clock, Hidden Staircase, and The Bungalow Mystery!

Enjoy these books and keep reading!

Why was the Declaration of Independence so important to the colonists?

The Declaration of Independence was and is very important to all American’s and the colonists. It was very important to the colonists.

It was important and is important because it declared the USA it’s own country. it declared that the British no longer had the power to enforce rules of the colonists. The colonists had traveled to America because they wanted to be free, not controlled by the King and Parliament. Being declared independent was a very big step from being controlled helpless people, to being free and independent Americans!

This is and has been a very big deal ever since it had been published and adopted. The colonists being free means that we are free!
