The Kneeboard

It was a cool Summer day in Johnny’s house,
”Johnny!” Shouted Johnny’s mom,
“What,”
“You got something in the mail,”
“Cool,”
“Here, read it,”
“Awesome an invitation to Noah’s cottage, we leave tomorrow morning.” Exclaimed Johnny, “Mom can I go please, please, please?” Asked Johnny, “Yes of course.” Exclaimed his mom,
“Yay I can’t wait,”
“Ok you better get to bed,”
“Ok good night.”
Beep beep beep! Johnny’s alarm clock was beeping, so Johnny got up and got dressed and ate his breakfast, “Yay it’s time to leave!” Said Johnny,
“Bye honey see you in a couple days,”
“Bye.” Said Johnny
“Hey Noah.” Exclaimed Johnny,
“Hi,”
“Lets play games on our Ipods ,”
“Ok…,”
“We’re here,”
“Great, i’m so excited,”
“Want to go boating first,”
“Yes!”
Rrrrrrr!
“This tube is just like a couch,”
“Yea it’s one of my favorites, want to try kneeboarding,”
“Um sure.” Said Johnny who was unsure of his decision.
“It works like this, you start down in the water, and you pull yourself up,”
“Ok.”
Rrrr vroom!
“I’m doing it i’m really doing it!” Woosh a giant wave shot Johnny flying in the air! “Aaaa!” He screamed as he was in the air he was frozen with fear! Rrrrmmm “There he is get him in the boat” Shouted Noah,
“Johnny Johnny,”
“What happened,”
“Well, you hit another tube, and it sent you and the kneeboard in the air, then a giant wave hit you, and you fainted.” Exclaimed Noah, “Ouch my gut does kind of hurt.” Exclaimed Johnny, “Are you trying again?” Asked Noah “Not ever!” Shouted Johnny , “Well you have to try,” “Fine.” He exclaimed scarily, and happily at the same time really wanted to learn how to kneeboard!
“Remember, if someone is flying at you bail,”
“Ok,”
“Lets try this again.” Noah thought he would never learn. But Johnny thought elsewhere.
Vroomm! “Ok you’re doing great!” Said Noah,
“Thanks,”
“Bail!”
Sploosh, “This is going to be a while.” 30 tries later, “I hope you learn soon!” Exclaimed Noah,
“Me too.”
Vroom! Johnny thought to himself please please let me not fall! “You did it, you made it all the way around the lake!” “Yes!”
“I did it I really did it,”
“Yea you did a great job,”
“Thanks for teaching me,”
“Yea it was a great time!”
