To train to be a child of the king we can,
- Read the Bible.
- Be kind to others.
- Be images of him.
- Be loving.
- Be lighthouses for him.
- Spread the word of God.
- Share, care for others, and point others to him.
- Be reverent.
- Love those who don’t love you.
- Forgive and forget
Those are some ways we can train to be children of the king.

Believe
Samuel and Me
Question: Why does God not always answer our prayers in the way we want him to?
Answer: Sometimes that’s not God’s plan. When something doesn’t work out, other doors open.
Question: How should our attitudes be like Samuel when we enter church or open our Bibles?
Answer: We should be excited that we our entering God’s house, and we our reading God’s book, but we should still be reverent.
Question: How was the ark used as a good-luck charm? How could a similar mistake be made with symbols today?
Answer: They thought the ark was God, they were worshiping it like it was an idol. Someone could carry something around like a wooden cross and they could parade it around God doesn’t like that
Question: Why is it no longer necessary for us to offer sacrifices as Samuel did?
Answer: God/Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, dying on the cross.
Question: How can we be living sacrifices for God?
Answer: Worship God, preach the good news, and choose what’s right.
