friday we went to the Civil War Muster at Van Raalte Farm. We got to see what people used in there everyday lives. There was some stuff that moms used, kids, and dads used. Then at the next station we got to here stories and see some of the the stuff that they used in the Civil War. We got to here this really cool story about Mr. Van Raalte’s sons, they were soldiers in the Civil War. And at the last station we got to see and hear some of the command they used in the Civil War. And we also got a musket demonstration, it was very cool. after they were done we got to talk to the reanactors, and ask them questions. Overall it was a great field trip.

The school year has gone pretty well so far. I have a good teacher, a good class, and the work has been fairly easy. We just had gym and played two ball soccer, we had a fire drill right in the middle of our game. It wasted half of our time we ended up losing 10-8. I watched Keigan’s and Kole’s intramural soccer game Keigan’s team won in a shootout. I have drum lessons and soccer practice tonight, man I’m busy. I can’t wait until next year when we get to bring our laptops home! The rock dedication ceremony was really cool, especially when we got to put our rocks in the hole, our school is built on our faith in God. I can’t wait until my birthday! I’m going to have a party at BAM. These are some of my random thoughts.

Shout Silently

Our theme comes from Psalm 19:3-4, it says,

There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun.

That means we have to “Shout Silently” we should have actions that speak, and show that we’re christians. We don’t have to tell people that we’re christians, our actions should speak and show that we’re christians.
