I had a hard time with the 3a quiz this week. 3-1 through 3-4 is hard because you have to add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals. The part that was hard for me on that quiz was dividing the decimals and figuring out equations with decimals. I conquered it by sticking with it and focusing on it instead of other people.
Example question 3a #28
7.77 divided by 2.1 = x
First you move the decimal place on the integer as many times until you get a whole number. Then lets say we moved the decimal one place on the integer, then you will have to move one decimal place on the deviser. Then you divide and get
3.610.
When you add or subtract decimals from your bank account or a purchase.
