Volcano

Our volcano is a cinder cone. We have  a hot spring and a geyser near it and the geyser is going to erupt along with the volcano. We made our volcano out of paper mache and then painted it brown with red streaks down the side as a lava flow. Our group effort was great and we got along and got the job done and looks great. I would like to work with Isaac and Blake again sometime in the near future.Photo on 4-29-16 at 11.11 AM

Spaghetti Tower

Something that went well was at the beginning it was turning out very nice so we had our hopes up.

Something that went wrong was that we were dumb and put it in the microwave to soften the marshmallows but it ended up ruining our tower, another this is that we went for a placement test with the egg, but the egg fell and broke the tower.

My favorite part was the begging of the building because everything was going well.

My least favorite part was that when everything went wrong everybody got mad at each other and brought down our team spirit.

Nitrogen Cycle

I had the Nitrogen Cycle. I think the Nitrogen Cycle is a very important cycle because it includes a bunch of important stuff like denitrifying bacteria, animal waste, decomposing, and of course Nitrogen. The cycle goes first by the Nitrogen in the atmosphere, then it spreads and goes to Ammonia and also goes into nitrates. An animal eats a plant that has nitrogen on it and when the animal has to go, the waste goes down into the ground. The animal waste goes to decomposers that goes to ammonia. Nitrogen goes into a lake and the nutrients in the nitrogen help grow Bluegreen algae. A fish will eat the algae and will die, the fossil is decaying by organic matter, also it goes into denitrifying bacteria in the air. That feeds into nitrates, and the nitrates feed into denitrifying bacteria and that feeds into the Nitrogen in the atmosphere and the cycle starts over again.
