Immigration
Today, my class had many people from around the school and area that have immigrated to the United States. Most of the people that immigrated here came for a safer life and for christian education. The United states is very different than all the other countries. A woman named Mrs. Xhang was from China before she emigrated and her family thought of the United States as a rich country. But when she came here, she saw many people on the streets and not what she had expected. In China, it was much more stricter and when she came here, the teachers and students were more lenient. I learned a lot from the meetings we had with these people.
