Invictus

We watched the movie Invictus. Nelson Mandela was an amazing leader and cared about everyone. He turned the whole country together. At first, all the black people hated the rugby team, but Nelson Mandela was kind to them. He learned their names, and shook each of their hands before every game. By the end, there was this community there that there wasn’t before. There was a little boy trying to listen to the game by some cops – their door was open in the car. At first they shooed him away, but by the end, he was sitting on the car, drinking coke, and they were lifting him up and gave him a hat. The secret service hated each other in the beginning, but then they were friends and shaking each others hands by the end. This movie taught me that everyone should be treated equally.
