Film Festival

Scale:

I thought the scale one was super cool. What the guy did was he made a perfect scale of the whole solar system. It was really cool when he held up the fake sun and it was the same size of the real sun. It was just really cool that this was the first real scale model of the solar system. I whish he would’ve done more though, like pluto and some of the galaxys or stars, but non-the less it was completaaly epic.

Running Wild:

I thought the running wild one was super cool because these two runners, who run like 100 miles in just one race, the ran all over Utah to find cameras, check them, put new bateries in them, and go to the next one. They were trying to find the wolverine that they had spotted erlier on, but they didn’t spot him on that expedition. I thought the pictures of all of the other wild animals was really cool to. I wish they would’ve stayed longer though so we could’ve seem more of what was happening with the wolverines.

Canyon Song:

I thought the canyon song was really cool because it was about these three siblings who was learning more about her culture and about the spirits that lived in their canyon. Whenever they would enter the canyon they would sing and shout so that the spirits would hear them and protect them while they were there, and when they left they would grab leaves from trees and they would throw them in the water. I wish they would’ve showed us more of the canyon and about the land and who owned it and stuff like that.

Generation Up:

I thought generation up was super cool because it was about and ashian girl and an american super tall guy who were amazing rock climbers. They would go up to caves and just climb, it was cool to see them be able to climb upside down. They are like the worlds best rock climbers and they came together to just climb. I wished they would’ve gone on a huge expedition to like rock climb to the top of a cliff or something like that.

Strong Water:

Strong water was cool because these three guys were surfing in Minesota. It was just amazing, they just took some concrete that was broken and just surfed in the river. They went from extreme cayaking in the river, to extreme surfing in the river on a home-made wave. I wish they would’ve showed a little more on how they made the wave and what it took to do that, but all in all it was epic.

Across the Sky:

Across the sky was OK. I mean it was epic the the guy just tight-roped across like 500 miles and never fell. I wish they would’ve given us some backround and what it took for this guy to get there and what his story was.

I am so glad that I went. I think I will remember this Film Festival for a long time.
