Salt and Light

A long time ago, in this galaxy, (que play button) there was a person named Jesus who was preaching about salt and light. I’m going to talk about salt. Salt can help to preserve your food. (By the way, if you haven’t turned of that music yet, you can turn it of whenever.) He told his followers one Twitter (actually not Twitter, but whatever, right?) that you should preserve your faith just like you preserve your food with salt. He also said that just like salt adds flavor to something, you as Christians should add flavor to the world by being a good, Christian influence. Now I’m going to talk about light. Jesus told all of the people who were listening to him that you should also be like light. Have you ever noticed how light penetrates the darkness? If not, I think you may have problems. But the point in is that you should be a light in a dark world (earth). By this I mean that you should be good influences, serve and be kind to others, and imitate Christ. This is what Jesus means by the salt and light part of his sermon on the mount. QUE THE MUSIC!

City on a Hill Café Service Project

Yesterday we went to the City on a Hill Café. If you don’t know who went with me then that’s too bad because I’m not going to tell you. But anyways, the first thing we did was cleaning chairs and the underneath of tables. When we finished that, I started cleaning the place were they made most of the stuff, and my assistants cleaned all of the mats that needed cleaning. When I was done, I cleaned more of the stuff in the back, like the tables and the chairs that they use back there. Then I helped finish the last of the mats and the City on a Hill Café employees treated just to a pop and some Doritos. Then it was time to go back to school. THE END!

P.S. This isn’t were we worked, but it is a City on a Hill so this the picture that I’m using.
