Blog post 1: conflict and doubt in the bible times there are lots of times that people struggle with God. israel fought God in a struggle with God and jaycob in real life. Petter had trust in God he was walking on water but then he started to doubt and he began to sink. My connections about this is when my grandma fell down the stairs she broke her neck we just keep on praying for her to get better and she ended up walking around and back to normal, also my aunt had cancer was hard but we prayed and prayed and she her cancer is gone and she is still here. But we have also prayed and prayed for my great grandma but they have passed away. This means to me that stay with the Lord he does everything for a reason. Even with hard times pray and if the lord does not save the person you are praying for maybe he did if this person was struggling he/she would now not be struggling and would be in a better place.
Blog post 2: Cultural Mandate, we need to keep this world clean pick up after yourself. Keep the world clean God have us the world so why would you just trash the place that keeps you alive? It could kill you, we could pulut the world. Turn off the lights and water to save energy.Conditional- if you do this… then I will do this.Unsalted- God keeps his promise no matter what. My thoughts, If I clean up and turn off the light and water it would make it so my mom and dad don’t have to pay as much on the bill. What I think about this, what is the point of trashing the world? When you throughout a cup or something like that if an animal eats that it could get hurt and you could pulut the world.
Blog 3: a symbol of a lamp. Jesus is our lamb and he was sent through the line of David. In that time the lamp was there only light source. David was a man of God but yet he still made mistakes. Jesus is the most powerful light of the world. He helps out the line of David. The light is like a flashlight it helps me see in the dark and scary times. This means that God is are a flashlight, he will keep us safe in dark times in our life.
Blog 4: Moses was born into slavery but he led Israel out of Egypt. God is who he is, God is unchanging and faithful God. He is a verb. People would try to harm other people but God had a plan. God does everything for a reason he will be there for your entire journey through life. Even if you or a friend is struggling with a hard time God is doing it for a reason it might not seem like it at the time but in the future you will see why he did it they might get to have the honor of getting to be alive and be with family and friends or they go to heaven and our in a better place eventually you will meet up with everyone in heaven.
Blog 5: The kings where not alowes to worshipping idols and focused on popularity and power but they did. They did not care how God saw them or thought of them they just cared about what the people thought of them. My connection with this is trying to get friends by not being who you are. I think that we should do everything for and in the name of God. Also, don’t try to be someone you aren’t just to get a friend, people will like you for who you are.

So the new covenant was going to be writing on their hearts, not on stone tablets, there would be no animal sacrifices because Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice jeremiah gave the people a new covenant Vidic it did not have any conditions it was based on of grace and forgiveness. Blog 7: at first thing would be going good but then someone would attack and they would cry and they would send a judge, then the people would fool around and want a king like every other nation. They would not listen to God whatever God did the people would do what saw fit. My connection is soccer the world would tell me to go do what I want to do and that is soccer instead of sitting down for a little bit and worshipping God. my thoughts about it are that we should be selfless and give God-like ten minutes of our day to him I mean he gave his son to us so we kinda need to repay him.
Blog 8: the people marched around the walls 1 ones every day for a week and on the 7th day they walked around it 7 times and then they blew the trumpets and the walls fell down. My connection if I walk and talk to myself I can break the walls that are holding the sin in and not praying to God. what I think. We should just let out our prayers and confess when we have sinned.
