Haymeadow Book Report

John Barron is fourteen years old living in Cheyenne, Wyoming, John and his father Cawley worked on a ranch with six thousand sheep. There were a lot of problems, one was that there was a bear and it hurt John’s shoulder and killed many sheep. Another one is that John’s friend Tink had cancer (Tink originally helped with John) so Tink could not help and John had to work by himself. John did not like to kill sheep or work with them. At the end John really did not care to work with sheep. The lesson that I learned is that it’s okay to kill animals, but it will be sad.

 

Why Kids Should Play

Have you ever tried to play?, I love to play, when I play it’s always good exercise, it gives you something to do and it is really fun. If you have not played you should read this down below.

 

Every kid should play because it is good exercise, one day my leg was sore, I went to play, and from exercise, my leg felt much better!

 

Every kid should play because it gives you something to do. One day I was sitting on the couch doing nothing and I didn’t know what to do, and my mom said “ how about you go play!”, I said “OK”, and I had so much fun playing Monkey in The Middle with my dogs!

 

Every kid should play because it is really fun. I love to play. One day I went outside with my mom and we played Monkey in The Middle with the dogs, we had so much fun! , you should play!

Ending:  Playing is so much fun, when I play I have fun! There are so many games and other things you can play, if you ever try to play, remember you can play with animals, because it’s fun, you can play because it’s good exercise, and playing can always give you something to do.
