Steps to Ratify the Constitution

3 most important things about this reading was:

1. When the delegates at the Constitutional Convention had completed their work, they sent the new Constitution to Congress.

2.They (the delegates) were only supposed to revise the Articles. Instead, the delegates had written a new plan for the national gov.

3.Thus the peoples’ will would be done. Under the new Constitution, 9 states had to ratify the Constitution for it to go into effect.
