Gateway Arch

Who should visit the Gateway Arch?
The Gateway arch is part of the national expansion memorial in St. Louis Missouri
USA . There was a nation wide competition  in 1947-1948 to disign a monument in St. Louis  honoring the western pioners and architect. Eero won the contest with his Arch design. Saarinen was the name of the group that built the Gateway arch in the competition. The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument in St. Louis Missouri. Built  with stainless steel in a form a flattend catenary arch. The Gateway Arch is the tallest
man- made monument in the united states, Missouri’s tallest accessible building, and the worlds tallest arch. This arch sits at the site of St. Louis foundation on the west bank of the Mississippi river. Construction began on February  12,1963 and ended on October 28,1947. The monument opened on June 10,1967. This monument costed the US $13 million at the time. Approximately $94,700,000.  There is a hotel thats magnificent everybody should go there!!! Now go buy tickets hop on a plane and go se the Gateway Arch!!!!!! PS. By the way if you are big and tall and you go to the Gateway Arch you won’t feel big and tall anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
