Scinece expeirament

We had to pull a cement block on three different surfaces last week (with rope): Asplalt, Cement and Grass. it was really hard to pull. then we tried it on dowels and marbles (same(all)surfaces(marble surfaces: Asplalt, and cement.) it was a lot easier. While we were doing this we had a packet to fill out. In the packet we had to record data record friction and force. And how it worked on the dowels and marbles. In this picture one person is listening to the block and how it sounds when the friction between the surface(s) and the block the other person is wacthing the block and seeing how fast or slow it moves and the last person is pulling the block but she can’t go to fast or to slow it has to be the same speed.7b3954a7-6fb4-47c2-b2bf-a6724694126c

I like kicking the ball but I have never got a goal. But I always remember that there’s always next year. Every year I get a picture frame that has three slots for pictures. One has me in my soccer uniform. One that has my whole team. (Plus me) And one that is differnt every year but it always has a soccer ball on it and the word soccer.

The three little cats and the big bad dog

The Three Little Cats and the Big Bad Dog

Once upon a time…

There were three little cats and a big bad dog. Their mother told them that they had to go their own ways.

“Now all you have to watch out for is the big bad dog.” It looked like a shiver came over Mama.

The first little cat didn’t pay any attention. “A big bad dog? I don’t have to worry about that at all!”  thought the first little cat.

Now the second little cat payed a wink of attention. “I can take care of that big bad dog. Piece of cake!” Thought the second little cat.

The third little cat payed attention the whole time mama cat talked. “I better watch out for the big bad dog! Sounds really scary!” Thought the third little cat.

Now the first little cat (who was not very smart) didn’t even have to build his house! He just stayed in the barn where mama was. But on the opposite side of the barn on the ground. And what he thought that mama would look right over him. Because she was up by the roof on the straw.

The second little cat build his house out of meadow grass. Just outside the barn. To be close to mama.

And the third little cat (the smartest of all of them) Now that they had homes to live in and mama had new babies that she had to take care of. Now the big bad dog without any hesitation walked right into the barn and saw the first little cat and started to ask him a question.

“D- before he could say any more the little cat said “no!” “Then I’ll just eat you right up!” “Still no!”Then the big bad dog jammed right through the little cats door and gobbled him right up.

Mama cat saw it and tried to shout to the big bad dog.

“Stop!” She called.

“Stop!” she called again but the big bad dog could not hear her.

As the big bad dog walked away mother cat followed closely behind with her kittens. Soon the big bad dog got to the second little pig. The big bad dog soon saw the house and started to ask the little cat a question.

“Do you want- Before he could say anymore the little cat said “no!” “Then i’ll you gobble you right up.” Said the big bad dog.

“Still no!” said the second little cat. Then the big bad dog jammed right through the second little cats door and the big bad bad dog gobbled him right up.

“Stop!” Said mother cat to the big bad dog. The kittens joined along to.

“Meow!” Still the big bad dog could not hear her.

Soon the big bad dog got to the third little cat and since she was hidden in the alley the big bad dog walked right passed her. Then she whispered to mama when she came by together they followed the big bad dog. Soon the big bad dog lied down for a nap. He was very fat. (Well of course because he ate two cats) When he was laying down the cats came up with a plan.

Mama and her kittens would meow very loudly which would wake up the big bad dog and then the third little cat would bite and pull the big bad dog’s tail.

Soon they went into action. Mama and kittens meowed loudly.

“MEOW!” it woke the big bad dog up still feeling a little sleepy. Then the third little cat pulled on the dog’s tail.

“AWWWWW!” Yelped the big bad dog loudly.

“Now what do you want?” Asked the third little cat Mama cat and her kittens.

“I just wanted to play.” Said the big bad dog weakly,

“were so sorry.”  Said the third little cat Mama cat and her kittens. The big bad dog soon barfed out the first little cat and the second little cat (And all covered in slime) and all started to play in the sun with which is now known as the great good dog.

And all lived happily ever after.

That’s my google doc fairy tale we had to read a bunch of fairy tales then write the one we liked the most. Mine was the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. But we had to modify it into a adaptation of the real story. So I modifyied mine to the three little cats and the big bad dog.

The kingdom connection

ZCS (zeeland christian school) played a musical called the kingdom connection on 3/15/16. Grades 2nd through 4th. And everyone did a spectacular job! 2nd and 3rd graders sing the chorus. But 4th graders get a chance to be a character or a soloist. (plus chorus)
