Distance Learning Reflection

My week has been pretty laid back and boring. After i’m finished with school at about lunch I get real bored and dont know what to do. Our family has been trying to play a game every night though. And that gives me something to do. Also, my dog is also getting sick of us being home 24/7 and wants more attention as well.

Some of my highlights have been not having to wake up super early, being able to eat while I work, and spending more time with my dog.  But ive also had hard times. Such as getting annoyed at my family easier because i’m spending more time with them. And having the same lunch every day. Or not being able to see any of my friends and being really bored.

I want my teachers to know that its nice to take breaks once in a while from school. And i’ve been able to get outside often. Also this computer is really starting to get on my nerve. My mom is feeling stressed about all the calls shes been getting from peope wanting books even thought the lirary is closed. And i’ve never really realized how much I need time away from my family sometimes.

How the Reformation effected my beliefs

The roman catholic church did not obey God. If Martin Luther hadn’t of standed up we probaly would all be going to hell. Martin Luther helped the translatation of the bible to many more launguages. We can now believe that Jesus rules (or the bible) and that we are safe if we believe and commit and forgive the sins we have commited to Jesus and go to have eternal life with him.

God’s Faithfullness

God shows his faithfulness in a lot of ways. Like one time my grandma broke leg. She had to get a service dog. Thankfully she is okay and that is what matters. Injuries and Illnesses happen quite a bit. Sometimes even bringing them to their death. Also their is worry in our world. I was very worried for her. So was the rest of my family. But thanks to God’s faithfulness we do not have to worry about it anymore.

Why I am part of the New Covenant

I am a part of the new covenant, I am still trying to bond with God more and I am still working on my sins. But I have accepted my life to Jesus in all my ways. I may still sin a lot but I am working on that also. I am also trying to pray more and trying to pay attention more. I also know that God will alaways keep his promises unlike us. This is why I am part of the new covenant.

Issac’s Persepective (Genisis 12)

(Note: Please remember this blog is written in Issac’s perspective of the story)

One day I was in the camp with my mom and dad when my dad said we were going to sacrifice a animal on an altar. So we packed the wood and the knife and started to hike up the mountain. Half way up I asked my dad, “Where is the sacrifice?” “The LORD God will provide us with a sacrifice.” he responded. As we kept hiking up my father started to look worried. I thought maybe he was just worried that God wouldn’t bring the sacrifice. But I knew he would bring the sacrifice. As my dad fixed up the altar my he took out a rope, and he tied me to the altar. I got so scared as he put the knife up to my chest, but then, an angel appered and said, “Please do not kill your son. “You have trusted God in all your ways.” My dad untied me and found a ram in the bushes. We sacrifed that and walked down the mountain together.
