7B Camp Reflection 2014

Who am I?

John 15:15 “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his masters business. Instead I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made know to you.” I like this verse because its saying why be just a servant of the Lord when you can take time and be friends. Make a friendship with him. I could try that, try and spend a few more minutes with him and start a friendship of a life time.

Who are We?

1 John 1:7 “ But If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us all from sin.” I like this verse because it says If we work together as a community for God, we could have a better and stronger bond with God.

Who is He?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. I like this verse because It says that don’t worry about tomorrow, each day has troubles of its own so don’t worry. Don’t freak out or become stressed about something. Come to the Lord and he will help you. Again don’t worry.

I had a lot of fun on that day. I had an good time with friends and with God. I would not regret that day at all. I was probably one of the best days of my life it was an awesome experience.

Science

We had to experiment on some different objects to find the density of the object, if it would sink or float. We numbered the objects 1- 13 on what was the highest density to the lowest density. 1. Bolt 2. Granite 3. Marble 4. basalt 5. water. Anything else that is is below the density of l ml of water will float. Some examples of this are, a cork, a wood block, a pencil, a plastic cube and many more. One way that and object that is the same size but can have a different density determines on what the minerals are in the object like a wood ball and a steel ball. A has less density then water (1 ml) and a steel ball has more density causing it to sink.
