images-26I started in Texas then I started to go to New Mexico. I was going up and down a lot I knew I was in mountains all of the sudden I realized I was in the Rocky mountains. They go from New Mexico to canada. They are East of the Great Basin and West of the Great Plains. They are south of Canada and North of Mexico. They are approximately 2,980 miles long and about 4,500 feet high. The Rocky Mountains are probably older than the Appalachian Mountains.
