3 things I learned from reading “Steps to ratify the Constitution”

Out of reading this page I learned that the bill of rights was a big thing and even the Federalist had a problem with the Constitution because it was not there. I also learned that they did adopted a bill of rights. I also learned that their were many good reasons that the antifederalists did not except a new constitution but many of them had to do with the fear that something could go wrong or that they did not want to risk taking a chance. Many feared that the President would be like a king with a different name, and others feared that the new constitution was mostly for benefit of the rich. Still others believed that this new plan gave too much power to the Central Government at the expense of the state, they believed that the delegates did not have the power to write a new document of the constitution. Another thing I learned is that Congress was very angry and did not like the new plan because it took away most of their power but they had to pass it on to the people so that the people could decide if it is good and should pass or not. In Conclusion the constitution did pass after some adding such as the Bill of rights and is what now rules us today. I believe that even though the delegates went through a hard time trying to write the new and improved Constitution it was a success and a great job done by the delegates.
