this blog is about what i do in school

Egypt

In class our teachers asked us to make a museum all about egypt. We had to Read a book about egypt called The Egypt Game By Zilpha Zeatly  Snyder. And we had to to a survey in math of what people liked best in museums.we did a survey and found the average on every question. And we learned about mummies, pharaohs, pyramids, sphinx, etc. in Social Studies. After all that it was time to make our museums. we worked in groups and made or museum. Some of the things I learned in Egypt is religion. One religious thing is mummies when someone dies they turn them into a mummy by sticking a tool with a hook on the end up the dead persons nose and pull the brains out. They also cut open the person take all the lungs, liver, intestines, etc. and put them in bottles then they wrap the mummy up in cloth that looks like toilet paper and  set amulets on it and then put it in a pyramid. I also learned about Sphinx the sphinx is a lion’s body and a human’s head.  I had a lot of fun and this paragraph tells  just a little bit of what i learned.

Descriptive Paragraph

Our assignment was to describe a place by painting a phrase in the reader’s mind. How did i do?

Heading to the place I love a lot, Going over the gigantic bridge pit pat, pit pat, (the bridge leads people to the island) There it was the, The whole island. Looking at one side little kids running and playing, looking on the other side an ocean deep and blue, everywhere there is Florida fun and thats just how I like it.People listening to the radio blaring loud music. And the dirty white seagulls and there honking sound. I can feel the breeze blowing in my face. and the hot summer air beating at my checks . I can see people have different flavored ice cream like vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate melting in the sun. I could smell the restaurants food like chicken and fries. I could see brown and white pelicans diving deep in the ocean coming out with huge fish 1, 2, 3, 4 pelicans!! I have to leave way to soon but I can always come next year!
