Making subjects and Verbs Agree

The Rule:In a sentence, the subject and verb must match.

When that happens, we say the subject and verb agree.

When a subject is singular (stands for one thing), the verb usually ends in s.

EXAMPLES:

1.I cook a lot of food.

2.My brother loves to play

Ruth,Boaz, and Me

Q.How was Ruth meeting “providential”? Where do you see God’s hand?

A.I see that God lead Ruth to Boaz.

Q.Have you ever seen and experienced God’s providence in your own life?

A.Yes I have when I was riding my bike and I fell off and scraped up my whole knee and God healed my knee.
