Descriptive Paragraph

Our assignment was to paint a word, picture in our readers mind, to describe a place , or thing. How do you think i did?

In the sandy shores of Virginia Beach the ocean gentle breeze makes you forget about the sizzling heat. Its calm waves crash on the shores leaving behind the tiny crushed pieces of the shells in its place. When you would first go out into the grainy, hot, sand, the fishy smell will seem to be overwhelming you, however, the saltiness evens this “interesting” smell out. You can see the waves forming from out in the distance looking like storm clouds coming before a storm coming. When you would first go out to the ocean you see a seeming never ending line of water stretching out width and length as far as the eye would see.The people everywhere are laughing and enjoying themselves with company, in the deep sparkling blue water. Some are spending time with each other, the teenagers getting a nice golden tans, the toddlers and their family are making miniature sand castles. The older kids are out deep with their surf board waiting for that wave to pick them up and carry them to shore, where their friends are watching cheering them on. People are on the board walk buying ice cold ice cream and hot dogs and sitting and watching the distance, their eyes almost peeled for dolphins. The couples are walking hand in hand smiling and giggling with each other. And there the deep blue still waits, for the next exciting day to start.
