March Field trip: Friday, March.9 9:00-10:45 A.M. We are excited to try a new March field trip! We will be going to Visser Farms to learn more about seeds, planting and how they farm God’s creation. Thank you to Dana Moeller, Emilee Lubbers and Meredith Geurink for driving the field trip!

We made the news! It is great to see our students be able to use their language in the community both on TV and at the Lunar New Year Festival at DeVos Place.

Curriculum

Language Arts
Reading Strategies: Read the tones correctly for each character. We use visual and gestures to help us say the tones correctly.

Writers’ Workshop:
We will continue writing our own pattern books this week.

Math
We will learn about composing and decomposing numbers.

Science
We will look for evidence of air.

Bible
We will learn about Jesus’ ministry：Jesus and his disciples; Jesus blesses children; Jesus teaches about prayer.

We will learn about the fruits of the sprit throughout the year. For the month of February, we will learn about the fruit of patience.

Social Studies
We will focus on science for the next couple months.
