Some things that really surprised me about our senate session was how long it took to get everyone to get up and tell us about what they did. It also surprised me how some people waisted all there time to work on this and they still have no idea what they were talking about when they went up to present this also was something that frustrated me as well. something that i enjoyed from this was just a new experience and a chance to learn about our government and to see how things really happen in the real world and a little bit of what to expect as i grow up and become more involved in the government and the choses that they make.
I learned about my class that they all have really different opinions on things and how they really dont like it when people disagree with them and that our class is very talkative and that we also have some procrastinators and they don’t always get everything done that needed to be done for the session or that they still didn’t know what they were talking about or what to say about there job in the country. I learned about myself that I interested in the government and how it works and how you need all the jobs in it so that it can run smoothly and successfully over the years.
I think that in the future i will have to learn not to get as frustrated at people when they dont know what they are talking about when they are presenting and also just trying to focas on what people are saying and not to grow bored and alwasy try and give my full attention.
some of my favorite parts was at how long we took and how we gave time to the people that needed a longer time. if i could change anything about it i would make it so that you cant table a motion because i find it very annoying that we always have to come pack to it and i think we should just vote for it and get it out of the way.
