Market Day Reflection

What I learned about collaboration is that if you don’t talk. And if you don’t speak up to what you want and you think it is a really good idea it would help but you are too shy. Some critical thinking is that you MUST work together and think together to make success because every job is important. Something that I learned from creativity is that creativity and colors is crucial because if it was plain and boring then nobody would want it. But when you add color it is great that people are coming to your booth and is picking between all the different patterns. What I learned from communication is that if you speak to your customers loudly and clearly and make eye contact they will feel important. The best thing about market da was when we were on the last rubberband gun and we finally sold it and we were so happy we were the 2nd people to sell out. One of the things that i would change about Market Day is that maybe lower it to $1.00 in the first place so we were prepared and we weren’t stressing about our price and no one was coming until we changed it to $1.00. One of the most IMPORTANT things I learned from Market Day is that communication is everything and having an accurate price is VERY crucial. If you don’t have that you are not a business.

Market Day Prediction

What are you most excited about for Market Day?

I am excited to dee how many products we are going yo sell and how much money we are going to make too. I am also excited about seeing other businesses sell their own product and how wel they do

What are the strengths of our group? How will this held today?

We are good at working together. This will help because we will all get a turn to go up and talk to the customer and show them what to do. And that will help because we will all feel successful and be proud of what we did TOGETHER.

What are you most nervous about for Market Day? Why am I nervous about it?

I am nervous that they won’t sell. I’m afraid that if there is a duct tape that they really want and if it is all sold out they don’t want it any more and we will lose customers.

Do I think we will sell all of our product? Why or why not?

Yes because lots of people in our class like them and ask if they can shoot them. And people say that people are talking about them. I feel confident that we sell most of our guns.

What will you do if my group doesn’t sell anything?

We will probably sell 2 for $2.00 and hopefully people will come to our booth.

How will we remain positive even if things are not going as planned?

We will remain positive by thinking maybe they are debating on a product and ours or they are just looking around.

What will we do if we sell everything? How will we stay humble?

If we sell everything and the booth next to us isn’t doing so great then we will ask if they need help and if they say no we will just say, “Your doing great!” and maybe that will help them.

What id the overall prediction?

I think we might sell all of the guns if not at least in the 40s. (We made 50 guns)

Market Day Pitch Reflection

Three Highlights of my Pitch

We got two offers from the venture capitalists.
Mr. Tenhaken lowered lowered our interest price from $7.00 to $5.00. But we have to give him 20 cents per gun.
He said that he wouldn’t buy any shooting things. But he bought our so I think that it is probably going to be a good product

Three Possible Improvements

Maybe we could have a notch or something to put on there so it holds in place when we put the rubber band on.
We could maybe glue the PVC pipe together so it doesn’t fall off.
We could maybe have some other duct tape and so there is more options than just pink and blue. We can have boy prints and girl prints.

If I had to do it again what would I do to prepare better?

I would try everything that I was going to say and I would say what worked and what didn’t work. So I would have a perfect presentation and poster and I would know what it costed exactly. And I wouldn’t have to explain that much.

What advice would I give to a 4th grade student next year?

Get everything you need find the prices and figure out how much money we are going to make and find out how many of your product you are going to make. And find the cheapest materials as you can.
