Amazon Land Use

I like the rubber tappers because it helps the environment in two ways. It helps them get more rubber for the economy, and it doesn’t affect the environment at all. This activity is there way of life and they are trying to keep the forest safe.

The settlers are being selfish and destroying trees only for them and making a prophet for there family. the loggers are clearing out only for the money and not thinking about anyone else like the rubber tappers. More than 60% of the deforested land is used up for the cattle pastures.

Bible themes

images  Salute to a king: Why I picked this theme is when I saw the crown with a cross over it saying everyone and everything is equal. I always worry about how I look or social networking and stuff that in God’s eyes doesn’t matter at all. Every sin is the same too. We always judge on what sin they did but in God’s eyes everything is equal. I picked this picture because it represents that everything Is the same. Even the sins we make everyday.

0117_control-800x480 Something is rotten: I picked this theme because I liked what it said. It says,”trusting God and giving up control.” what that means to me is that we always have to trust God. Even if it means stepping out of our comfort zone and giving up control because you never know what God can do in your life. I picked this picture to represent giving up control. The keys are kind of like you life. You’re handing it over to God.

9831670 A savior: I like this theme because it reminds me that God forgives. If we sinned every minute of our life God would still forgive and love us. Because Jesus died on the cross for our sins we are saved. No matter how many times we do it he will stick to his word. I want to be more like God and forgive and give grace to them. I picked this picture because I think it represents forgiveness and grace .

Lost and Confused Signpost Conflict/Doubt: I think it is okay to doubt God. Satan wants you to doubt God because he thinks it will pull you away from God, but not always. When you doubt God you can end up having more faith in him. You can give him full power in your life and he will do what is right. Maybe not in your eyes but in his it is meant to be. I picked this picture because it says all of the stuff we are dealing with but you need to pick the right path to go on.

cross2 Covenant: God made a covenant to forgive and love us by dying on the cross. He stuck with his word too. I want to be more like God and forgive and love others. Especially when they have done something wrong to me. It’s really hard to do that. I picked this picture to represent God dying on the cross. That was a covenant from God to us saying I will always forgive you.

isaiah-40-21-god-will-guide-your-steps Call: When God calls you to do something, you can always trust that he will be there. It’s just like people say, “ If God calls you to it he will get you through it.” When my Grandpa died I wondered why God did this to me. But there’s a reason he did it. I picked this picture because it reminds me of God leading me on the right path. I will stumble and fall sometimes but he will always be there to help me up.

Screen Shot 2015-01-14 at 2.22.08 PM Slavery/salvation: I like this theme because it says “God takes struggles and uses them for something.” This reminds me of a story about Joseph. He was born in slavery but he ended up saving his people. God put him in that position so that that would happen. The picture I picked has slaves working. On the bottom picture I have a family living a good life. That’s kind of like Joseph’s story.

Playing golf, ball on tee and golf club. Vintage, retro style Sinai Law: I connect to this theme because it asks a good question. It says,”what are your golden calves.” Israel turned away from God and worshiped the golden calves. My golden calves are probably sports. I get so caught up in winning I don’t even remind myself why I’m even here. I have a picture that says “Give God the Glory.” I like this because it reminds me who brought me here and gave me this gift in the first place.
