I am a person who only knows how to fight, even though I went to school it was mostly fighting. At the age of 6 or 7 I went to school. Only men were allowed to school because the women would stay home and learn from their mothers. After school at the age of 18 I was sent to an military training camp where I learned to fight. In the camp we learned that if you were hungry for food, you would steal it. If people were to come and try to take us over, I am the person to call.
My name is Bion, I am Spartan man who loves to fight. In my city were able to vote for laws that the of elders made. The group of elders made the laws that were then voted for and then were established to the city. The people in my city farmed crops on the land they had. If they did not have enough land they would conquer other people and take their land. It was very rare for us to trade with others because we thought that it would give new ideas to the people.
Slaves in my city have to farm crops and give it to the people in the city. Our slaves had most rights that other slaves from other cities have. Women in my city could marry whenever they wanted and whomever they wanted to marry. My mother told me how she got to know my dad and how they came together to have me. Unlike the Athenians where the father decides their husband.
