I have no idea how God has been preparing me to do work for Him. I know that my mom tells me that I am very patient, I can work hard towards what I want and that I’m very friendly, but besides that I have no idea what God wants to do with that in me. I haven’t had any huge God moments, ya I’ve been baptized, been raised in a Christian family gone to a Christian school and made profession of faith, but what God wants to do with my life, well for one that’s out of my control and two I have no idea. I think that when I really want to do something, I work towards that until I achieve it. I’m not necessarily naturally athletic, but I work at it.

My project with Christian persecution is on Nepal. There they are mostly Hindus, so christians are not generally accepted. There is a story about this one girl persecuted by her own family.

It is important to know what is going on now days. There is even persecution in the USA. There is persecution all over, and it’s just not cool. People are being martyred and driven out of the places where they live because the believe in the one true living God. We need to at least know about this, and if not, do something.

In bible this week we have been talking about the early church vs. my ideal church. I have noticed that our church is a lot more self centered. I think that we could strive to be more like the early church with sharing what we have and giving more to the poor. I just think that we almost need a new mindset about faith.

I never knew that Jesus was teaching us as he was dyeing. If I was Him I would have thought that all the people were long gone and would have given up hope on the people. He hadn’t given up hope, but still was trying to teach us the way as He was dyeing because he was forgiving.

I saw God this weekend. The way that I saw Him this weekend is in the other teams good sportsmanship during my all weekend soccer tournament.
