Out of all the acts we have studied which do you think is the harshest and why?

In my opinion I think that the quartering act was the worst because the colonists had to give a home and many other things to the british soldiers. Also they may have to give 3 meals to the soldiers and not be able to feed themselves or the rest of their family. The soldiers also get their own bed room when the rest of the family maybe has to all share aone or two rooms because they do not have a big house. Also the soldiers will probably  eat big meals and they have to get three meals a day. The colonists do not have enough money to buy  three big meals for the soldiers and their family when their are so many taxes from the british. In conclusion I think the quartering act is the harshest act because the colonists do not have enough money to give a room and three meals a day to the british soldiers when they are already struggling to feed and give a room to their own family.

Colonial March :)

I just practiced our new band song . It’s really fun and I’m glad we only did the first half because the second half looks really hard and I would rather do two short songs than one long song. I wonder what our second song will be like.

Why was the Declaration of Independence so important to the colonists?

I think that the declaration of Independence was important to the colonists because  they wanted to be free from the British. They wanted to declaration of their independence from the British and a written statement. They thought that is was important for them to have their own government and not have a king like king George the 3rd because they thought he was too controlling and had to much power by making lots of taxes and laws and were not letting the colonist be free.
