El tema que yo escogí es no gastar electricidad. Creo que es importante no gastar electricidad porque no es renovable. Para hacer electricidad tienes que quemar carbon y no puedes usarlo otra vez. Para conservar electricidad y carbón no voy a cargar mi ipod o teléfono por una semana.

This week one of the things that was hard was 9-2 Q 11. The question was:
A wheel had a radius of 14 centimeters. What is the area of the wheel?
I figured it out by asking Ellie and Nick, the people I am working with, to explain it to me.
Equation – Area=3.14 x radius squared
R=14 14squared=196 x 3.14 = 615.44 round to the nearest whole # = 616
Real Life example:
If you were making a circular horse pasture you would need to know the area of the circle so you know how much grass you will need to plant.
